Personal data is used to fulfil your orders, provide vendor and parent support, personalise product recommendations, prevent fraud, and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Legal Basis (PDPA)

Edu Picks processes personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate business interests as the lawful bases for processing.

4. Sharing With Vendors & Partners

To fulfil an order, we share the minimum required details (name, delivery address, order items) with the relevant vendor and delivery partner. Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors and never stored on our servers.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand how the marketplace is used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser at any time; disabling essential cookies may affect checkout.

6. Data Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, hashed credentials, role-based access controls and continuous monitoring — to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in any email or writing to our Data Protection Officer.

8. Data Retention

Order and invoice records are retained for at least 5 years to comply with Singapore tax and accounting obligations. Marketing preferences and account data are retained for as long as your account is active.

9. Children's Privacy

Edu Picks is intended for parents, educators and students aged 13 and above. Accounts for younger users must be created and supervised by a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13.
